People work hard and have less and less time to cook every night. We will continue to offer our ready-to-eat products, we feel that this helps many people. Many people see this as a logical and appetizing solution to the need for healthy, nutritious home-cooked meals.

Café sur la rive

Housed at 253 Water Street, just steps from the Post Office and elementary school, Café sur la rive has been changing the pace of Plantagenet Village since 2019.

In the path of cyclists (the Café is a member of Explore Ontario by Bike) and bikers, with its terrace overlooking the Nation River, this 3rd wave café attracts fans of hot caffeinated beverages.

You come to Café sur la rive for your latte, filter coffee or americano, and leave with a couple of cookies for the road. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just a casual fan of the black beverage, Café sur la rive offers a warm experience in a family atmosphere. We're waiting for you for your next cup!

MEALS TO EAT IN OR TAKE AWAY

Since its very beginning, the Café has offered meals and sweet treats on site: soup of the day, various sandwiches, salad varieties, cookies, etc. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available. Since 2020, Café sur la rive has expanded its (very) popular prepared meals. Launched in the midst of a pandemic, they are now here to stay!

Lasagna, manicotti, Tuscan salmon, homemade bruschetta, soups and more aren't going anywhere once the pandemic is behind us. Stop by to pick up your meals and reserve in advance for larger orders or to make sure you get what you want!

Café sur la rive has been awarded the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario's Safe Travel designation for 2021.

Nonna's Gelato is more than a brand. Experience an Italian taste experience with every bite. You can expect spoonfuls of flavor: vanilla, lemon, black cherry, chocolate... who doesn't want to be there already?

Each flavor is named after a member of the owners' family. A sort of family tree at the counter. One more way for you to know and be part of the family!
